At this time of year, thoughts inevitably stray to weekends away or a road trip to the continent and Porsche has everything you need to make the most of the summer months.
Whether you drive a Porsche Cayenne or Porsche Macan, there’s always a need for extra storage, especially if you have the family in tow. Storage solutions are equally important for those with the classic Porsche 911 or Porsche 718 Cayman.
To help, Porsche offers a complete roof transport system to enable you to safely and securely attach either the roof box 320 or 520. As the name suggests, one has a 320-litre capacity and the other a larger 520-litres. Both can be opened on either side, contain an anti-slip mat and the 520 also comes with integrated ski racks.
For those who like to park-up at a journey’s end and explore under their own steam, there are two bicycle racks to choose from - one roof-mounted and the other rear-mounted.
Up to three bicycles can be fitted to the roof-mounted rack and it holds all types of bicycle up to a frame diameter of 100 mm. The rear cycle carrier is only available for the Porsche Panamera, Macan and Cayenne models. It’s lockable, made of aluminium and can hold two bicycles up to a maximum weight of 30 kg each. It can be quickly mounted on the trailer hitch without the need for tools, while the folding mechanism means that the tailgate can be opened to its full extent, even when the rear bicycle carrier is mounted and loaded.

* Data determined in accordance with the measurement method required by law. Since September 01, 2018 all new cars are approved in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP), a more realistic test procedure to measure fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp. From 01 January 2019, all fuel consumption figures are shown as determined in accordance with WLTP. CO₂ figures will be shown as NEDC-equivalent values, as CO₂ based taxation will continue to be based on an NEDC value (derived from WLTP) until 06 April 2020. Fuel economy and CO₂ emission figures are only intended as a means of comparing different types of vehicles tested under the same test cycle. New WLTP homologated vehicles are therefore not directly comparable with any vehicles tested under NEDC.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Extra features and accessories (attachments, tyre formats etc.) can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel consumption and CO₂ values. Additionally, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, electricity consumption, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
